One of the many genres I love in music is Lounge, or Jazz, Blues, but just Lounge, as it categorizes many genres together. It’s just music which is played in lounges or very relaxing areas, mainly hotel lounges, quiet bars, lifts, or even toilets! Picture this. You own a beautiful penthouse suite in a metropolitan city, and it’s night. You slip into your bathrobes after your hot bath, and you walk into your chilled (temperature wise) hall, or lounge. You turn on some Lounge music and you sit down on YOUR chair and sip a glass of OJ. Hm, maybe not, maybe a glass of Merlot or whatever you like. Now isn’t that just heaven? Oh, and also enjoying the skyline view of the city.

Ah damn it. Forgot some of the good saxophonists that I used to listen to, but there are a lot. Maybe Ron Holloway or Dizzy Gillespie’s Quintet. But then again, just search for anything Lounge, I’m sure you won’t be dissapointed.
