Know that whatever you have been through has passed. It’s not going to come back, and it never will. You may think it, but it’s not the same. It’s not what you’ve experienced 3 years ago, 4 years ago. All you have is memories, and memories are there for a reason, they remind you of your past. Forget the person. Keep the memories, because that’s all you have. Don’t try to relive the past. Don’t try to bring anything back. Don’t try to win her back. Stop trying. Wake up, she’s gone.

Bad news came in through my window today, and really, it may well determine my life. Not that it will change it on a great scale, but it’ll hinder me from achieving what and when I want to. I never really took it seriously. Not once. It was never really something I gave much thought to or put my interest into, until now. It’s the power of ‘want’. You want something, you get it. But how much do you want it? Sure you want it, but do you have that urge to get it? How important it that specific thing to you? Important enough to sacrifice what you can?

It’s so hard to bring yourself up to some you’ve never gave a second look at and to put your effort and time into whatever. A 360 turn in your life is totally impossible. Hell, it’s hard to even make a 180. But if you strive, and you endure, it is possible. Do not say you care, because you don’t. If you worry, anticipate or stress over, then you can say you care. Do not tell yourself that bullshit you always do, because everything is not fucking OK. As a matter of fact, it’s fucking shit, it’s going to get worse if you don’t do nothing. Make it happen. Pull yourself out of the quicksand. Don’t let your own thoughts devour your dream. Instead, work for it, toil, sweat, whatever.

So here I am, telling myself, “You can fucking do it.”

A little insight… Leaving Malaysia.

I went to a multi-cultural school and I spent most of my school life in it. Through the many years I’ve been there, it’s safe to say that I’ve met many people who have left their hometown, the place they grew up in, the place where they met their friends, because their parents had been moved to oh so wondrous Malaysia to continue their work. I’ve seen many people adapt to the lifestyle of Malaysia, and some still hold the traits of where they came from, but still, they enjoy the occasional plate of Roti Canai and Milo Ais!

I’ve seen many people so ecstatic about going back home for the holidays. I never knew how it felt to go back home, well because, I never did leave Malaysia for more than a month. But that was a long time ago. Right now, I can’t wait to get out. Not because I’m looking forward to life outside Malaysia, but because I can’t take life in here. This place. Don’t get me wrong, I love Malaysia, I love the food, the people I’ve met and the.. OK, maybe not the hot weather, but I love the rain. I love KL, and everything about it. It’s just the matter of who. So basically, I love to be a tourist in Malaysia. I like staying in Malaysia only to enjoy the many great things it offers like entertainment and such. But once you care about the details, it’s hard to change your opinions. It’s just mind boggling because of the overload of promises that have been made, but no changes to Malaysia. Malaysia is the same, last year, and it will be this year.

So, if I ever leave Malaysia, there won’t be any tears, but smiles, and butterflies for what’s to come. Maybe in 20 – 30 years, Malaysia would be an ideal environment for me. So, I don’t think I’ll ever come across the feeling of missing home. But home is where the heart is, and I guess that’s where your you left it, with family, and friends, and FOOD!

Won’t go into detail about Malaysia and ‘why it so lie dat’. You never know when masked men will break through your window and catch you.

One of the many genres I love in music is Lounge, or Jazz, Blues, but just Lounge, as it categorizes many genres together. It’s just music which is played in lounges or very relaxing areas, mainly hotel lounges, quiet bars, lifts, or even toilets! Picture this. You own a beautiful penthouse suite in a metropolitan city, and it’s night. You slip into your bathrobes after your hot bath, and you walk into your chilled (temperature wise) hall, or lounge. You turn on some Lounge music and you sit down on YOUR chair and sip a glass of OJ. Hm, maybe not, maybe a glass of Merlot or whatever you like. Now isn’t that just heaven? Oh, and also enjoying the skyline view of the city.

To be honest, I would never thought I’d be writing this ‘post’ or even own a ‘Blog’. I’ve always thought that blogs were personal online diaries that one chooses to share with people around the world, but doesn’t that just defeat the purpose of calling it a diary? Or maybe they don’t refer to it as a diary? But I’ve read a handful myself and the majority of it are all personal feelings or the usual “Today I went to college to only find out that I have no classes to attend.” Oh, how perfect. Coincidence? I think so. Here’s a question though, what would a ‘blogger’ do when he/she had an uneventful week, month or even a year? Would they just write some boring shit? Or do bloggers have to be thoughtful and capable of pouring out their mind and soul onto the screen.

I have read a lot of types of blogs before even starting this one. There are blogs that have information about places or food or whats happening around the world and such, and I find that really fascinating and not to mention, cool. It’s just those blogs with pink coloured back grounds and an overload of pictures with stars and those weird cartoon bunnies or hamsters pasted or watermarked onto the page. Yes, I’m talking about those ‘Ah Lian’ blogs. Not only do Ah Lian bloggers have those stuff, even normal girls (I’m not being sexist here) flood their blogs with pictures of themselves with their pillows and stuff. One of my lecturers once said that when you take a picture, your supposed to be taking it with someone or to remember something like places, buildings and what not. Why the hell would you want to remember your pillow?! Or the fact that you poke your cheeks and do a little frown only to flood it with flowers and ‘Hamtaro’ and ‘Tamaguchi’ or whatever. But then again, I wouldn’t understand why they were doing it, because it was all in Chinese. Mandarin, if you’re wondering what Chinese it was, obviously. But maybe they were poking their cheeks because it was itchy or some shit.

I’ve always thought ‘Damn! You must’ve a lot of shit on your daily agenda to have a blog.’ I mean, if you don’t, what would you write about? Maybe that’s why them girls put pink coloured walls and cartoon pictures because the truth is their blogs are actually really just fucking boring! Hm, how about that?

Anyways, I know this post, or me having a blog is hypocritcal, but hey, I’d like to try this out. Everybody is a hypocrite anyways. Denying the fact that you’re one, already makes you one. So I’ll just stick to this for a bit and see how it turns out. Well, if it gets boring, I can always put Doraemon on my page!
